Hustle & Flow

Inspired by the scene in the movie Hustle & Flow where they make the song “Whoop That Trick,” I made this jam based (loosely) on the main riff to that song with extra stuff. The strange thing about the main riff is that I’m playing (low) octaves: F, G#, A then F#, G#, A, but what sounded best for the solo was the C Pentatonic scale? I still don’t know why C would be the correct key. I need to analyze it more to see what “mode” is involved behind everything. All guitars are me and the drum track is part of the Riffworks program.
