Then two things happened: I got a midi keyboard and I heard about the RPM Challenge - to write and record an entire album in the month of February. Eager to try and do something fast for a change, I thought I’d have a go, and as an experiment I decided to try and make an electronic record (my first!). The result was, for me, something of a revelation: I can make music without guitars! (Up to then, always my main instrument.) I’m delighted with it and I hope that you like it too. I might try this again sometime.
