surge xt performance

a max generated midi file of notes is being played into Surge XT free vst3 and I am ,,, kinda playing the vst plugin in reaper there are trials and errors as I learn this new synthsoft synthesizer — it is very very powerful and I don’t quite understand what I am doing … there are 3 oscillators to design waves for and then FM mix into each other my supernova II does the same thing but this synth as a fourth noise selection… that is beyond what I do on my supernova 000. I think mmmmmm maybe it is just really close to it but does the interface differently.. yeah,, I am learning a lot of new things with surge XT and playing with the tons of presets out there,, OMG_–
