This tune is one of my top ten favorites of all time.
It’s originally performed by The Mike Curb Congrigataion and used as a music track for the movie “Kelly’s Heroes” starring Clint Eastwood, Telly Salavas, Caroll O’Conner, Don Rickles, Donald Sutherland, Gavin McCloud, and a bunch more .

As some of you might already know, we’re fighting the cancer here.
My woman has breast cancer, skin cancer, and a whole lot more.
She’s a kick ass kind of bitch though, so , She has it under control.
She is terminally ill, but that’s just a medical characterisation.
Nothing more.
We’re much tougher than that. We’re American - you know.

The song carries a simple message.
