Any clothes out on the line
These are the only times I think of you

Any jacket in the closet
Any hearts that are entwined
Any mail that’s in the mail box
Any restaurant in mind
Any lizard on the door step
Any dust left on the blind
Any cup left in the coaster
Any tea that’s ever limed
Any okra in the freezer
Any shoe that’s ever shined
These are the only times I think of you

Any girl there in the bath tub
Any thought that’s ever mined
Any car that ever passes
Any speeding ever fined
Any taste of something salty
Any pillow so inclined
Any candles on the mantel
Any love that’s left behind
Any footsteps on the doorsteps
Any door bell ever chimed
