Bunny's Noisy Book (youth collaboration 2)

This is another track resulting from a project in my digital music class at Oasis Charter Middle School (Spring 2007). Using a common pool of objects, my newborn daughter’s baby instruments, I asked the students to create episodic sound illustrations to go along with the children’s story “Bunny’s Noisy Book” by Margaret Wise Brown. We recorded the sound illustrations made with these instruments, then I created a simple beat to underpin it and recorded my own voice reading the story while a student triggered the samples that we had recorded.
