Stevie Ray is the reason why I picked up my guitar in the first place. I did my best to mimic him throughout my short 8 months of guitar playing, then I realized I was going nowhere. So instead, I sought to develop a style which would make Stevie…

This is the only track where I played all the instruments you hear. Otherwise I just stick to singing and playing my lame guitar. Also, this is another first in the sense that I have kept the original song mechanics intact in one of my covers…

This rendition is pure magic!

I made this song in fond remembrance of Kurt Cobain, who has been an inspiration for me musically. While there's no musical brilliance at work, I tried to retain the original tone of the song with a dirty little white noise in the background…

best cover of this I've seen, anytime, anyday. Better than Opeth, I daresay. Your vocals are beautiful. :)

The vocals sound awesome to me. I haven't a single negative critique to offer. It all works for me -- Rock on!

An EVH-inspired instrumental. I couldn't come up with a fancier name, so Boogie Train it is! This is straight up Hard Rock 80s style. No dabbling in other genres to mess up this song. Heh. Leave some comments if you please. Believe it or not…

You have an interesting approach to doing vocal tracks -- certainly out of the box. Your instrumental tracks are quite tasty.

The vocal track peaks in a few places, but otherwise it's a beautiful mix down.

Lose the tremolo - makes the vocals sound weak. Otherwise fantastic. Retains the flavour of the original and its barely suppressed violence, though with a dreamy bluesy guitar; if this was deliberate, was it intended to be ironic, considering the lyrics? I wish you were here so that we could discuss it in details.

Thanks for your comment on my song a while back. I like this song, a a lot. The building of intensity in the first few minutes is really well done. I do have a question. Are you going to credit William Ernest Henly (probably no relation to Don) for your use of his entire poem "Invictus"?

Eerie, disturbing, lulls you with the first few bars into a sense of security and your comfort zone only to rip apart the illusions and render you forever, an unquiet soul. Respect. Protik

this is actually a cover of a cover. the original song is by the Vaselines, I would give it a listen, it's far superior to the Nirvana cover IMHO.
